Rochelle Leese from Miller Leese Financial Services recently applied for a grant to help the Jamestown Royal Flying Doctor Service Branch, through the Association of Financial Advisors (AFA) Foundation, and was successful in obtaining $2000 to help support the ongoing costs of running the RFDS service in our local area.

Miller Leese is a 3rd generation financial planning business that severed ties with AMP in 2008 to become a local owned and operated business. “We are grateful to all our wonderful clients for their support over the years and look forward to many more years helping our local community” said Rochelle. “The grant would not have been made possible if we were not members of the AFA and without the support of our loyal clients.

“I had no idea that Miller Leese were applying for a grant to support the Jamestown RFDS. It was a wonderful surprise” said Rick. “Funding like this helps us so much considering we have had to cancel this years RFDS Ball due to COVID-19 restrictions. I thank our community for supporting the RFDS Jamestown Branch. It is our community spirit that sees money in our donation tins at every event we attend, and we thank you all for your generous support”.

If you would like to help support the RFDS in any way possible, please look out for their donation tins scattered around town or visit the website to donate:
