Jamestown Show

The Jamestown Show is well into the planning stages, with some great new things happening as part of our 2021 programme on October 3rd & 4th. Some of the locked in entertainment, that is set to impress young and old, are – The Austin’s – band, The Barossa Girls, Bubble Shows, Animals Anonymous and The Amazing Drumming Monkey’s. A new feature to the 2021 Jamestown Show is the inaugural Northern Ag Special Selection Ram Sale. This will compliment a great line up of 2 day Sheep and Wool events that already make up an integral part of our Sheeptacular feature, including the Commercial Hogget Comp, Wool Exhibit, Ram & Ewe Comps, Speed Shear, Sports Shear and wool handling events. For more details see our poster (opposite this page). Junior judging is becoming a big part of the show, with this in mind, we are again supporting a Junior Education Day in conjuction with Gumview Gotta-Do-Well Charolais, on Friday July 30th at the Victoria Park Showgrounds in Jamestown. This is an excellent event for school ag programs and a great experience for those planning to enter the Junior Judging events at the Royal Adelaide Show, as well as other local shows including the Jamestown Show. Tenders are now open for Trade Sites so please head to the website as the forms are now available for the 2021 show. Speaking of website, it is a little out of date, but information will be updated soon and the show book will be ready hopefully by the end of July, early August for entry information etc. For the latest news on this year’s Jamestown Show, please make sure you like our facebook page @JamestownShow and keep watching the Jamestown Journal and website for future show advertising and information. As you can appreciate planning an event during these uncertain times, does come with it’s complications, but we are sure you will not be disappointed with our 2021 Show.
