BUNDALEER BBQ BONFIRE & OPEN MIC

Do you play the guitar or drums? Love karaoke?
Have illusions of grandeur that you were born for the stage?
Or just feel like a relaxed day out with family and friends at Bundaleer Forest?

Well, you are all welcome to join in the fun at the Bundaleer Bonfire, BBQ and Open Mic on Sunday August 21, starting 12 noon.
This MyBundaleer event is a family friendly affordable experience for all, with free entry and BYO drinks. BBQ lunch will be available to purchase from Jamestown Apex Club, who will be fi ring up Bundaleer’s new electric BBQ.
The BBQ project was initiated by one of Bundaleer’s greatest supporters, the late Vin Malone.
Vin and the Malone family kicked off the Commemorative Plaques fundraising campaign for the Bundaleer BBQ in 2021.
The plaque fundraiser has since raised more than $20,000.
The project was also supported with grant funding of just over $11,000 from Australian Government’s Stronger Communities Program,
plus in-kind support from Redden Bros, Leesong Electrical, Simon George, Sam Lang, and Jeff Rowe Transport.
Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey will officially open the BBQ at 1 pm and may be convinced to take to the stage for Open
Mic.
Tom Malone will be coordinating the Open Mic – anyone keen to participate can register on the day (you will find the registration
table at Maple & Pine).
All ages welcome to take to the stage with some family friendly entertainment, and in between gigs you’ll get to hear from guest
artist Caitlin Drew.
This MyBundaleer event is supported by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

MyBundaleer – Together We Can.

Commemorative Plaques can still be purchased up to August 10
