Back to Back Winners!

Jamestown have done it again, winning all 4 shields in the 2022/2023 Upper North Competition. This is the first time in the history of the competition, that a team has won all 4  back to back.

There has been some outstanding swimming and some incredible triumphs in the pool all supported by an amazing team of coaches,  a can-do committee and proud parents/grandparents. The club is moving strength to strength, with over 70 swimmers participating in our swimming program, learning a life skill improving their skills.

Our biggest success this year has been our under 10 swimmers, who were the driving force behind the season win. A special mention to Luke Heness, at only 9 he has managed to win the Friday Night Competition shield and Club Champion for the season.

Thank you to our amazing team selector Tash Hall for her work this year providing our team nominations for 11 weeks was no easy job, especially when juggling a job that requires you to be responding to the flooding issues affecting the state in the Riverland.

Jamestown Swimming Club would like to thank our sponsors, clubs from Crystal Brook, Gladstone, and Booleroo Centre and finally our Upper North Delegate Brenton Hombsch. Clearly our competition would not exist without you all. Thank You!

Lastly we congratulate St James School, Jamestown on their recent success in the pool at Catholic Swimming in Clare, well done  to Eddie Duke and Harriet Stacey for both winning the Year 5 Champion.  We wish all those swimming in SAPSASA all the best in May.
