The annual International Women’s Day breakfast will be hosted once again by Soroptimist International of the Northern Highlands on Friday March 13th.
It will be held at 7am at the Jamestown Bowling Club where Team Friday Fillies, Leanne Beyer and Margie Simpson will tell of their adventures in the Outback during the Shitbox Rally, a Cancer Council fundraiser.
The girls were challenged throughout the 3500km trip from Melbourne to Townsville in October 2019, travelling over some of the roughest roads in Australia.

At the Soroptimist AGM in January the 2020 Office-bearers elected were President Leanne Beyer, Vice-President Mary Clark, Secretary Margie Simpson, Assistant Secretary Jane Redden and Treasurer Speed Catford.
