NEWS & VIEWS from Helping Hand

It has been a challenging time recently for everyone and we are incredibly proud of the team at Belalie Lodge who are keeping things cheerful for our residents and their families.

Families are visiting at the window of love, and we are embracing technology with FaceTime calls. Two sisters recently enjoyed tea over the screen – from Jamestown to Adelaide.

Thank you to local school children who are sending in drawings and pictures.

Our residents are engaging in all of their usual activities, but we have moved the furniture in our dining rooms to ensure social distancing.

We encourage all families to pick up the phone and call their loved ones, and to give our team a call on 8664 2200 to arrange a time for a window visit or FaceTime call.

We recently said goodbye to Vicki Orlando who was our Residential Services Manager. Vicki has moved to Adelaide to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren, and remains part of the Helping Hand team. We thank her for her leadership while at Belalie Lodge.

Remie Munson

Acting Residential Services Manager
