Well who would have believed it? Here we are 38 years down the track and still performing.
A lot of water has passed under the bridge in those years and our kids who began performing with us are now mature men and women. We’ve lost and gained performers and musicians along the way but we’re proud to say we’re still going strong and are now rehearsing for our new show “Young At Heart”
Highlights for us have been performing in the Keith Michell Theatre (Port Pirie) and appearing on Channel Seven’s Sunrise. A real feather in our cap.
Thankfully we’re still pleasing out audiences and playing to packed houses but as we all know inevitably time marches on and we now have two octogenarians in our troupe who I’m happy to say are still going strong.
We hope to open with this new show later this year.
This could be our last show but never say never!! Who knows??
We love what we do and hope to perform as long as we can.
It keeps us young – there’s no business like it.
